Helpful Middle School Resources

Being a teenager isn’t easy. And we’re here to chat about anything and to support you through a tough time.

Call Samariteens at 800-252-8336. Samirteens is a teen helpline that provides confidential peer support and understanding to teens who are struggling with feelings of depression, loneliness and stress. From 3 pm to 9 pm on weekdays, and 9 am to 9 pm on weekends, this service is staffed by volunteers between the ages of 15 and 18; outside those hours, calls are answered by adult volunteers.

Samariteens IM Hear program is the teen-to-teen online instant messaging program of our Befriending Services. It is dedicated specifically to providing online emotional support and to the prevention of suicide among teens. Here, teens can receive support, respect, acceptance, and tolerance – for whatever reason they call.
